Pro Dive Cairns – New Training Facilities Open

Pro Dive Cairns has opened its new, Cairns learn to dive training facilities on Spence Street. As Cairns’ longest running dive instruction centre, Pro Dive Cairns now combines a wealth of professional experience with the newest pool and classroom facilities in town. For customers, this means a better place to learn, before heading out to the Great Barrier Reef.

Pro Dive Cairns was already recognised as a PADI 5 Star Dive Centre and this $2 million investment into its facilities, only serves to enhance its positioning as the best, most modern learn to dive centre on Cairns’ Great Barrier Reef.

The new look Pro Dive Cairns Dive Training Centre includes six (6) air-conditioned classrooms, two (2) large, heated training pools, additional bathrooms and change rooms and shaded ‘break-out’ areas for students to relax, read and enjoy their lunch.

Rod Punshon, Managing Director of Pro Dive Cairns, said the extra space provided their Cairns learn to dive students with a more enjoyable learning experience, before completing their courses on the Great Barrier Reef.

“The additional capacity created will place us in an ideal position to cope with the ever increasing demand for our dive courses and provide an even better standard of product and customer service to our clients,” Mr Punshon said.

The extensions have doubled the capacity of Pro Dive Cairns’ classroom and in-pool student numbers at any one time.

In another new addition, Pro Dive Cairns introduced free wireless internet on to their three (3) liveaboard Scubapro vessels earlier this year. This is just another great service for customers, helping them to stay in touch with family and friends, even when at sea.
