JULY/AUGUST Cairns Dive Tour Updates!

The weather is just stunning! The reason why local people live in Cairns! Winter in the Tropics is just magical!

The winter months in Cairns (JUNE / JULY / AUGUST / SEPTEMBER) generally provide fantastic weather with little to no rain, blue skies, and sunshine. This can be seen from photographs below, taken over the weekend out the front of the Hilton Hotel Cairns.

We are now nearly at the end of JULY with AUGUST just around the corner. Most dive tour boats to the Great Barrier Reef are back up and running. Some only operate 3 days per week, others only on the weekend.

If you are planning to come to Cairns for a short break and escape the Southern Winter, please call ahead (PH: 0740411638) or send an email: reservations@cairnsdiveadventures.com and we let you know which boats are operating.

Liveaboards:

Especially if you are looking for a liveaboard dive boat, these are actually mostly already full thru to the end of AUGUST. Remember most tour boats can only carry around 30% of there normal capacity due to COVID-19. (This is to allow the 4 square meter rule all operators must abide by, set out by the Queensland Governments chief medical officer guidelines.)

Learn to Dive Courses:

PADI and SSI learn to dive courses are operating but please note the PADI courses are only starting on Thursdays and Finishing on Sundays. The SSI open water learn to dive course are a little more flexible. Get in touch and we can let you know what dates are available.

Conclusion:

We are an independent dive tour booking agency, we are not affiliated with any of the dive companies on this website. We make our money when you book your tours with us. We do hope our website has been of some assistance and please let us know if you have any questions about diving or snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef from both Cairns & Port Douglas Australia.
