Your Own Boat, Your Own Pace: Step Aboard Allure in Our New Cairns Video
The biggest luxury on the Great Barrier Reef might be having fewer people to share your boat with.
Your family. Your friends. Your own skipper and crew. A comfortable place to settle in between swims, and a reef itinerary planned around your group and the conditions.
Our latest Cairns Dive Adventures video takes you aboard Allure, a 47-foot Riviera flybridge cruiser available for private Great Barrier Reef charters from Cairns. Join Clint and Flynn for a look around—from the saloon and cabins to the upstairs seating where you can watch the coastline slip away.

What Does a Private Reef Charter Actually Look Like?
“Luxury yacht” can sound impressive without telling you much about the day itself.
Where will everyone sit? Is there somewhere comfortable indoors? What are the cabins like if you stay overnight? Where can you relax while travelling back to Cairns?
That’s why we made this walkthrough.
Starting at Marlin Marina, Clint takes you through Allure’s saloon and galley, the master cabin with its en suite, and the twin cabin. Outside, you’ll see the side deck, bow and tender before heading upstairs to the flybridge.
It’s an easy way to get a feel for the boat before deciding whether a private charter suits your group.
Space to Enjoy the Reef Differently
Travelling together doesn’t mean everyone wants exactly the same holiday.
You might have keen divers, relaxed snorkellers and someone who’s just as excited about lunch onboard and a comfortable seat with a view.
A private charter creates room to plan around those different interests. Allure accommodates up to eight guests on day charters, with chef-prepared meals and your own skipper and crew. Reef locations are selected to suit the conditions on the day.
For groups planning to scuba dive, Allure caters for up to four divers, guided by PADI Divemasters or Instructors. Discuss your group’s experience and preferred activities when arranging the charter so the crew can help shape a suitable trip.
The Flybridge Might Be Your Favourite Spot
One of the nicest moments in the walkthrough comes upstairs.
The flybridge puts you alongside the skipper, with comfortable seating and an elevated outlook over the water. In the video, Clint talks about heading up with snacks and a glass of champagne to relax on the journey home.
It’s a small detail, but it helps you picture the whole experience: the time between reef stops, the conversations onboard, and the afternoon cruise back into Cairns.
And If One Day Isn’t Enough?
Allure also offers two-day, one-night and three-day, two-night private reef trips for up to four guests.
The walkthrough gives you a look at the accommodation, helping you picture what staying onboard could be like. If an overnight escape interests you, we can help you work through the options, activities and arrangements for your group.
Take a Look Onboard
A private charter is a different way to experience the Great Barrier Reef, particularly for families and small groups who value privacy, personal attention and time together.
Our new video is a chance to step aboard before you make that decision—with Clint showing you around and Flynn along for the visit.
