Billy Tea – Daintree Rainforest 4WD Tours depart Cairns daily. A boutique Daintree National Park day tour departs from Cairns hotels at 7:17 am and returns to Cairns hotels at 6:50 pm. Spend a full day in the Daintree National Park with highly experienced driver guides.
Travelers can soak up the spectacular view of the Great Barrier Reef Drive, the road that joins the city of Cairns and Port Douglas to the Daintree National Park. Enjoy one of the longest-running Daintree River boat cruises, spending over 1 hour with highly experienced driver-guides spotting wild saltwater crocodiles, birds, flora, and fauna. Enjoy a light morning tea with coffee, tea, and biscuits.
The tour continues across the Daintree River on the vehicle ferry, offering spectacular elevated views from Alexandra Range Lookout. Pause for a panoramic view and a photo opportunity. Next, your driver guide will take you on a guided tour of the rainforest boardwalk. Explore the magnificent flora and fauna of this ancient rainforest.
Passengers will enjoy a delicious lunch with their fellow travelers in the natural surrounds of the Rainforest. Please advise of any dietary requirements at the time of booking. After lunch, cool down with a refreshing swim at a beautiful rainforest swimming hole. Experience the crystal clear waters in a stunning rainforest setting.

There is no scuba diving on this tour it is a Daintree Rainforest 4WD Day tour with senior highly experienced driver guides.
Snorkeling:
There is no snorkeling on this tour as it is a land based Rainforest tour. But do remember to bring your swim wear and a towel as there is a magnificent opportunity to swim in crystal clear water rainforest streams after lunch.

Remember to try any form of scuba diving everyone needs to be medically fit with no asthma and not be taking any prescription medication. PADI recommends allowing up to 24 hours after diving before flying in an airplane. Some tour operators have a no refund policy for any dives not completed for whatever reason. Please note the art of freediving is not permitted on any of the day boats or liveaboard dive boats from Cairns & Port Douglas. With the high instances of (shallow water blackout) companies do not allow this for safety reasons. It is highly recommended that passengers take out full comprehensive travel insurance for all tours and travel arrangements.
Do you have Medical Issues:
Please note if you have any medical issues you will need to go see your local GP where you live and get them to write you a letter on the practice letterhead signed and dated by your doctor that you are “Fit to dive” If you have one of these letters then all dive companies in Cairns will take you diving. Please note these letters are only valid for three months from their date of issue.
