Diving from Allure is designed for people who want quality reef time, not crowded dive decks or rushed schedules.
With a maximum of four divers per day charter, every dive is fully guided by experienced PADI Divemasters or Instructors. That means small groups, unhurried briefings, and dive sites chosen specifically for the conditions on the day, not a fixed itinerary.
Allure’s rare long-distance roving reef permit allows access to dozens of reef moorings across multiple reef systems, giving the crew the flexibility to move between sites to find the best visibility, marine life and conditions. It’s the kind of freedom larger dive boats simply don’t have.
Certified divers can enjoy relaxed, uncrowded reef dives, while first-time divers are equally well catered for with calm, personal instruction and close supervision — ideal for those wanting a stress-free introduction to diving on the Great Barrier Reef.

Snorkelling from Allure is a completely different experience to standard reef tours.
With a rare long-distance roving reef permit, Allure can access dozens of private moorings across multiple reef systems, allowing the crew to choose snorkelling sites based on conditions on the day — not a fixed schedule or crowded pontoon.
You’ll snorkel vibrant coral gardens and sandy lagoons without crowds, with plenty of time in the water and space on deck to relax between swims. The crew are always close by to assist, guide you to the best areas, and tailor the pace to your group.
All snorkelling equipment is provided, including quality masks, fins and flotation aids if required. Prescription masks are also available on request.
Whether you’re a confident snorkeller or trying it for the first time, this is snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef at your own pace, in your own space, at hand-picked reef locations most visitors never get to see.

Remember to try any form of scuba diving everyone needs to be medically fit with no asthma and not be taking any prescription medication. PADI recommends allowing up to 24 hours after diving before flying in an airplane. Some tour operators have a no refund policy for any dives not completed for whatever reason. Please note the art of freediving is not permitted on any of the day boats or liveaboard dive boats from Cairns & Port Douglas. With the high instances of (shallow water blackout) companies do not allow this for safety reasons. It is highly recommended that passengers take out full comprehensive travel insurance for all tours and travel arrangements.
Do you have Medical Issues:
Please note if you have any medical issues you will need to go see your local GP where you live and get them to write you a letter on the practice letterhead signed and dated by your doctor that you are “Fit to dive” If you have one of these letters then all dive companies in Cairns will take you diving. Please note these letters are only valid for three months from their date of issue.
Allure Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellations made 7 days or less prior to the departure date will incur a 100% cancellation fee (no refund).
- Cancellations made between 8 and 28 days prior to the departure date will incur a 50% cancellation fee (50% refund).
- Cancellations made 29 days or more prior to the departure date will incur no cancellation fee (full refund).
