Passions Of Paradise
Passions of Paradise is a Queensland and Australian Tourism Award winner (2009) in the category of Adventure Tourism and holds Advanced Ecotourism Accreditation through Ecotourism Australia. This is a locally owned and operated Cairns company, which is committed to providing you with the very best Great Barrier Reef day tour available. The Passions vessel is one of the largest commercial sailing catamarans in Australia and was built to provide a fast (top speed of 16 knots), comfortable ride to the Great Barrier Reef. It has an air-conditioned interior saloon and exterior sun decks. I hung onto a rope connected to the two hulls of the boat, it was here the dive instructor made sure we knew how to clear our mask and regulator if they filled with water or came off, we then sank one meter down to a second rope where we just seemed to hang in suspended animation, above us we could see all the snorkelers thrashing and kicking around but down here the ocean was very different.... read full review
